Lindsay Unified's Alternative Education learning community is a constellation of non-traditional learning environments and programs that supports learners' social emotional skills, academic growth, and interests in their futures. We offer four, distinct learning communities, including John J. Cairns Continuation High School, Loma Vista Charter, Lindsay Community School, and Lindsay Adult School. Each of these programs offers learners a path to a high school diploma that is personalized to their learning needs, customized to their interests, and aligned to quality, first instruction and the tenets of Lindsay Unified's Performance Based System.
