PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Hello families of Lindsay Community Day and Alternative Education,
It is an honor to serve the learning communities of John J. Cairns, Loma Vista, Community Day, and Lindsay Adult School. First and foremost, my role is to ensure all learners have the access and support they need to be successful in their personal and academic goals.
In Lindsay Unified, we believe that all learners can learn and that successful learning breeds continued success, which influences esteem, attitude, and motivation. This is very true in our learning communities at Alternative Education. All staff are committed to the mission and vision of Lindsay Unified and are here to support your children in their learning environments, goals of graduation, and post-high school college and career aspirations.
As parents and caregivers, we value you as our partners in supporting your children. Together, we can work together to ensure learners have the fullest range of academic, personal, and behavioral supports to be successful. We encourage ongoing communication about your children and want to celebrate your children's' successes with you!
Please reach out any time to myself, or my staff, to discuss your child's learning progress. We value your input and collaboration and we will continue to do our very best to support all learners every day, the Alternative Education Way.
Sincerely,
Amalia Lopez
